RESUMO:
O autor parte da constatação inexorável da grande expansão dos mecanismos de justiça constitucional, em seu caráter material e substantivo, nos últimos tempos. Busca analisar como, na América Latina, a partir da existência de três sistemas organizativos dessa justiça, surge como necessidade adicional, a presença de um órgão especializado, que confira unidade ao trabalho interpretativo, convertendo-se em elemento importante de legitimação do estado de direito, quando se faz acompanhar de uma autêntica vontade política.

ABSTRACT: The author explores the inexorable discovery of the great expansion of the mechanisms of constitutional justice, in its material and substantive nature, in recent times. He seeks to analyze how in Latin America based on the existence of three systems organizing this justice there arises an additional need for a specialized body to unify the interpretive work, which body becomes an important element to legitimize the state of law when accompanied by authentic political will.
